Dennis Dodrill-Owner
Hometown- Charleston, WV

dennis dodrillDennis Dodrill, owner of Dodrill Heating & Cooling/Dodrill Comfort & Energy Solutions, has been serving local homeowners since 1979.

Over that course of time, he has seen and fixed a variety of scenarios in home heating, cooling, insulation, air sealing and sub-floor ventilation. He and his team of certified professionals bring that knowledge directly to you as the local Dr. Energy Saver dealer for the Greater Charleston area, where they combine HVAC upgrades with energy efficiency.

 

Jewell Burford- Administrative Manager
Hometown: Charleston, WV

jewellJewell, with over 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry, was actively involved in the inauguration of Dodrill Heating and Cooling. Jewell started her career in the HVAC industry as a Dispatcher. Her skills and intelligence were quickly recognized and she began to move up the ranks. Jewell is a “Jill of all trades;” she has experience in all facets of an office and business environment. She has also worn many hats throughout her twenty plus years from a Dispatcher to an IT and Implementation Coordinator and an Administrative Manager. Additionally, she has provided consulting services for other home improvement businesses. Jewell manages many important duties for Dodrill including AP, AR, Financials, Human Resources, internal IT support, and implementation of new programs, processes and procedures. She has hands on experience as well as professional training courses in HVAC, Client Services, Management, Marketing and Accounting as well as IT server training and training in multiple software programs. Jewell enjoys working with and managing the team, and she is intrigued by detailed oriented tasks and the interworking of business components.

In her spare time, Jewell finds pleasure in Sunday family dinners. She enjoys spending time camping, reading, gardening, working puzzles and outdoor activities.

 

Cassie Canterbury- Marketing & Client Services Manager
Hometown: Charleston, WV

cassieCassie rejoined Dodrill Comfort & Energy Solutions in 2016, but she was with Dodrill in 2012 for two years prior to rejoining the team. Cassie holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications with an emphasis in Marketing and Advertising from West Virginia State University. She is currently working on obtaining a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University. For over ten years, Cassie has worked in the Consumer Marketing, B2B Marketing and Client and Customer Service fields and regularly participates in training and ongoing continuing education classes and seminars.

In her spare time, Cassie enjoys fishing, writing, reading, studying and spending time with her family, friends, and most importantly, her son, Cheyton.

 

Dylan Dodrill – Operations Coordinator
Hometown: Winfield, WV

Dylan DodrillDylan joined Dodrill Comfort & Energy Solutions in 2016, and he has been exposed to the industry his entire life. He is HVAC certified and graduated from Marshall University in 2015 with a degree in Business Management, Accounting and a background in Business Law. Dylan also attended the General Manager Training program with a well-known HVAC industry affiliation group – Success Group International. Dylan brings many different skills and ideas to the team. His knowledge of the business is a major asset to the company. Like all of Dodrill’s team members, Dylan participates in ongoing training, continuing education classes, and holds a West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License. The West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License requires 2,000 hours of experience working on HVAC systems and 6,000 hours of experience in HVAC associated work. This is a well-rounded license that certifies the holder in installation, maintenance and service repairs of heating ventilation and cooling systems.

Dylan takes pride in gaining and retaining new skills and knowledge. He also prides himself in work that is organized and neat. Dylan is a people person and likes providing services to people; his main goal is to help people in some way!

Dylan contributes his spare time to his faith and family. He is very mechanically inclined and loves working on vehicles and going on off-road adventures.

 

Kathy Adams- Warranty Administrator
Hometown: South Charleston, WV

Kathy joined Dodrill Comfort & Energy Solutions in 2004 as the Warranty Administrator. Kathy’s background in warranty administration is broad and extensive. In her role as Warranty Administrator, she is responsible for registering and processing warranties and warranty claims. She enjoys problem solving and finding solutions for clients and warranty related challenges. Kathy knows how valuable our clients’ time is, she is here to ensure warranties and claims are registered correctly and processed timely.

When she has spare time, Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and her two children, Aaliyah and Joshua. She also loves traveling and experimenting with different recipes in her kitchen.

 

Rachel- Account Coordinator
Hometown: Nitro, WV

2971-rachelRachel, the newest member of the Dodrill team and Dodrill’s Account Coordinator, has been in accounting for over 15 years. She spent the first 12 years of her career working in an accounting position for a local water distributor. She then continued her love for accounting and balancing numbers in the financial and banking industry. With over 15 years of hands on experience, Rachel has quickly settled in to her accounting role with Dodrill. Rachel’s role is an intricate piece of daily operations at Dodrill. She is responsible for invoice preparation, technician tickets, daily deposits and preparing work orders and folders for installation projects. Rachel is intrigued by balancing numbers and solving puzzles on a daily basis.

Rachel adores spending time with her family. In fact, she spends most of her time involving herself in her daughter’s love of softball through encouraging and supporting her daughter’s interest and involvement. When Rachel isn’t at softball games or helping her daughter with homework, she enjoys watching sitcoms like “The Big Bang Theory.”

 

Brittany Pauley – Lead Coordinator
Hometown: Scott Depot, WV

2971-rachelBrittany joined the Dodrill Team in 2016 with over five years of customer service experience. On a daily basis, Brittany takes incoming calls from clients who are interested in scheduling a free estimate or a free whole home energy audit. She manages the schedule for our Comfort Advisors and our BPI Certified Energy Management Consultant. She also makes outgoing calls to ensure all of Dodrill’s clients are satisfied with the service they receive from Dodrill’s advisors and technicians. Brittany is a problem solver, and she loves that she helps clients on a daily basis; she loves being the first voice the client hears when resolving an issue, or scheduling a free estimate or a free whole home energy audit.

In her spare time, Brittany enjoys outdoor adventures with her six-year-old daughter. Whether they are fishing, hiking or just going to the park, as long she and her daughter are outside, they are happy!

 

Scott Clark- Comfort Advisor
Hometown: Putnam County, WV

Scott ClarkScott embarked on his career as a Comfort Advisor with Dodrill Heating and Cooling six years ago. Being well versed in HVAC and client relations and solutions, Scott immediately was recognized as a valuable asset to Dodrill’s team. On a daily basis Scott meets with clients to provide solutions to home comfort and energy consumption issues as well as indoor air quality challenges. Scott’s goal is to provide a fun, stress free and productive environment for all of his clients during the advising process. Scott, like all of the team members at Dodrill, participates in ongoing training to stay current on all of the industry’s standards and solutions. He participates in  Airtime 500 training; he is a Success Academy Graduate and is recognized as a four time Crown Champion for providing award winning solutions to comfort challenges for a voluminous number of clients.

 

John Gibson- Dr. Energy Certified Energy Management Consultant
Hometown: Poca, WV

John GibsonJohn joined the Dodrill team with over four years of HVAC, Home Improvement and Maintenance Management experience. John’s training and certifications include a Building Analyst Certification from the Building Performance Institute (BPI), and he has a two year HVAC Certification and two years of Electrical Schematic Training. John also participates in on-going training and continuing education like all of Dodrill’s team members.

On a daily basis, John uses his expertise and energy management training to diagnose where clients’ homes are using and losing energy, and wasting money. John’s thorough evaluation and subsequent home improvement recommendations save clients energy and money, and make homes more comfortable! John creates money and energy saving solutions that will produce immediate results!

In his spare time, John loves spending time with his wife, Regina, and his three children, Natasha, Matt and Tyler. John also enjoys golfing, fishing and other outdoor activities.

 

Bill Pittenger- Installation Technician
Hometown: Ripley, WV

Bill PittengerBill joined Dodrill Comfort & Energy Solutions over ten years ago with over 23 years of experience in the HVAC industry. Bill is well-versed in installing, servicing and troubleshooting equipment. Like all of Dodrill’s team members, Bill participates in ongoing training, continuing education classes and holds a West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License. The West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License requires 2,000 hours of experience working on HVAC systems and 6,000 hours of experience in associated HVAC work. This is a well-rounded license that certifies the holder in installation, maintenance and service repairs of heating ventilation and cooling systems.

 

Jimmy Washington- Installation Technician
Hometown: Poca, WV

jimmyJimmy has been employed by Dennis Dodrill and Dodrill Heating and Cooling for over 20 years. His main area of expertise is in installation of HVAC equipment and generators, but he is also a certified and licensed electrician and plumber. He, like all of Dodrill’s team members, participates in ongoing weekly training. He is somewhat of a “jack of all trades,” and when he is not on an installation project he busies himself at Dodrill Heating and Cooling completing most in-house projects. He has a “get the job done” type of attitude and enjoys the satisfaction from a job well done.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and fishing.

 

Burton “Burt” Sampson – Service Technician
Hometown: Charleston, WV

Burt has been with Dodrill Comfort & Energy Solutions since 2010. Burt has over 15 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He also holds many certifications including a Universal EPA Certification, HVAC Certification, and a West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License. The West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License requires 2,000 hours of experience working on HVAC systems and 6,000 hours of experience in associated HVAC work. This is a well-rounded license that certifies the holder in installation, maintenance and service repairs of heating ventilation and cooling systems. He is also certified to provide maintenance and service on Generac Generators. Burt’s background and experience enables him to service both commercial and residential heating and cooling systems. Burt is also trained as a United States Army Combat Engineer. He enjoys creating a worry-free environment for his clients as it relates to servicing their heating and cooling systems. Burt, like all of Dodrill’s team members, participates regularly in ongoing training and continuing education.

In his spare time, Burt enjoys being outdoors – boating, fishing, camping and sporting events. Burt also enjoys play X-Box with his son.

 

Noris Shaffer: Service Technician
Hometown: Charleston, WV

Noris ShafferNoris joined Dodrill Comfort & Energy Solutions in 2010. Noris hold many certifications and licenses including a Universal EPA Certification specializing in residential diagnostics and maintenance. Like all of Dodrill’s team members, Noris participates in ongoing training, continuing education classes and holds a West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License. The West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License requires 2,000 hours of experience working on HVAC systems and 6,000 hours of experience in associated HVAC work. This is a well-rounded license that certifies the holder in installation, maintenance and service repairs of heating ventilation and cooling systems.

In his spare time, Noris enjoys spending time with his family while having dinner or watching a movie.

 

Bill Daff- Installation Technician

Bill has an HVAC Technical Certification, HVAC Electrician Certification and a Universal EPA Certification. Like all of Dodrill’s team members, Bill participates in ongoing training, continuing education classes and holds a West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License. The West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License requires 2,000 hours of experience working on HVAC systems and 6,000 hours of experience in associated HVAC work. This is a well-rounded license that certifies the holder in installation, maintenance and service repairs of heating ventilation and cooling systems.

Bill enjoys being able to work with his hands and meeting new people on a daily basis through his work. Bill also enjoys spending his spare time fishing and in the outdoors.

 

Tyler Russell: Installation Technician

He has many certifications and licenses include NATE Certification, ESCO Institute Universal, AC&R 410A Safety Certification and he has also received a Certificate of Competency. Like all of Dodrill’s team members, Tyler participates in ongoing training, continuing education classes and holds a West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License. The West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License requires 2,000 hours of experience working on HVAC systems and 6,000 hours of experience in associated HVAC work. This is a well-rounded license that certifies the holder in installation, maintenance and service repairs of heating ventilation and cooling systems.

In his spare time, Tyler enjoys sporting events and coaching Youth Football and Basketball, spending time with his family and traveling.

 

Bert French III – Maintenance Technician

Like all of Dodrill’s team members, Bert participates in ongoing training, continuing education classes and holds a West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License. The West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License requires 2,000 hours of experience working on HVAC systems and 6,000 hours of experience in associated HVAC work. This is a well-rounded license that certifies the holder in installation, maintenance and service repairs of heating ventilation and cooling systems.

 

Nick Wilson – Installation Technician
Hometown: Nitro, WV

Nick WilsonNick joined Dodrill Comfort & Energy Solutions in ___ , and has ____ years of experience. Nick has acquired numerous licenses and certifications including: a Universal EPA Certification, Apprentice Electrical License, Class I Sewer System Installation, Backflow Prevention Assembly Inspection and Testing License, PEX Plumbing Certification, Wandflex Installation Certification, He is also qualified in Gastite Installation and NATE Heat Pump Installations. Most importantly, Nick is also a combat veteran. Nick spent seven years in the United States Army and was deployed to Iraq twice.

Like all of Dodrill’s team members, Nick participates in ongoing training, continuing education classes and holds a West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License. The West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License requires 2,000 hours of experience working on HVAC systems and 6,000 hours of experience in HVAC associated work. Nick likes to spend his spare time with his family and their four dogs. He says having four dogs takes up the majority of his spare time.

 

William Fry – Service Technician

This is a well-rounded license that certifies the holder in installation, maintenance and service repairs of heating ventilation and cooling systems. Dennis prides himself in being a hard worker; as well as being loyal. He is dedicated to his profession and Dodrill Comfort & Energy Solutions. Like all of Dodrill’s team members, Dennis regularly participates in ongoing training and continuing education.

In his spare time, Dennis enjoys coaching children’s basketball leagues, spending time with his family, attending sports events, watching sports and volunteering time and energy toward his faith.

 

Cody Moore – Service Technician- Comfort Advisor

He holds many certifications including a Universal EPA Certification, WV State Electrician Certification, Osha 10 Hour Certification, ICE Certification and an HVAC Technician License. Like all of Dodrill’s team members, Cody regularly participates in ongoing training, continuing education classes and holds a West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License. The West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License requires 2,000 hours of experience working on HVAC systems and 6,000 hours of experience in associated HVAC work. Carter Bentley – Service Technician

Andrew Hogg – Installation Technician

Andrew HoggAndrew joined Dodrill Comfort & Energy Solutions in 2015. Although Andrew is new to the Dodrill team, he is not new to the industry; he holds many industry-related certifications. Andrew holds a Universal EPA Certification, Journeyman Electrician License, HVAC Specialty License, OSHA 10 and 30 Hour Certifications and PEX Plumbing Certification. Like all of Dodrill’s team members, Andrew participates in ongoing training, continuing education classes and holds a West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License. The West Virginia Labor Law HVAC Technician License requires 2,000 hours of experience working on HVAC systems and 6,000 hours of experience in associated HVAC work. This is a well-rounded license that certifies the holder in installation, maintenance and service repairs of heating ventilation and cooling systems.
